Artist's Date.

I've never been an avid reader, you can ask all my instructors through high school and college, but I could never sit down and focus on a book (even if it was required). Two months ago I was introduced to a book that happened to be located in the "Self-Help" section at Barnes&Nobles, which made me even more skeptical. The book is called The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron. I'm two chapters in and never been more excited about this foreign thing called reading. Each chapter is designated to finding or "unblocking" your inner creative spirits. Tasks are given on a weekly basis to dig deeper into the reasons of self-doubt and writer's block. One task that is given at the beginning of the book and to be done once a week until the end is an "Artist's Date". Take you and your inner artist anywhere you'd like to go as long as it's by yourself and just enjoy your "me" time. Today, I am 2 triple grande skinny vanilla latte's deep, about 100 pins "pinned" , and a solid 3 hours of butt to chair vibes on my day off. Never felt better.

Live Free.

I am on a blog hunt on a daily basis, either checking the regulars or finding new ones to gather inspiration from. One of my absolute favorites that I have to look at daily is The Vintage A. The blog is ran by Amanda Malm who also has a website where she has created a lifestyle with her vintage finds and inspirations. I love her natural beauty and simplicity in the things she finds as she travels around the world. Check out her website here and her blog here. Thanks Amanda for being a true inspiration.

Sunday Inspo.

Just a moodboard from some of my favorite blogs. I find inspiration everywhere and can't wait to share it with everyone. “One must maintain a little bittle of summer, even in the middle of winter.”

Flea Market Finds.

The Melrose Trading Post, a local flea market, offered me these gems last Sunday. Five leather bracelets (some skull beads included) for twenty dollars and the black stoned bracelet/ring for ten. I enjoyed the sunshine and vibes of the morning in my hindu printed curent/elliott pants found at Wasteland.

New Obsessions.

I just purchased these two amazing Rebecca Minkoff designs yesterday at Wasteland on Melrose and I can't show them off enough. The Alvin Flats are blue and gold sparkle that add a little flash to my subdue style. And the Endless Love Satchel, I actually got in black and it also came with a long cross-body strap. Can't get enough of them!
